It's fanTAStic!! I loveee eet!

Yes, Christmas time is fantastic and I love it. My Christmas countdown chain (which I started before Halloween) has gone down from like 70 chains to less than 7. I love looking at all the Christmas lights or getting warm in my fuzzy socks and sweats eating cookies while listening to Christmas music. In Texas this week it's going to reach 79. SWEET.

My daily wheatgrass detox shot and fresh squeezed OJ.
I've been working a lot lately. Mornings are spent making smoothies at Jamba Juice from 5am until 10am. Afternoons are spent either teaching piano to little kiddos or folding clothes and helping out bajillions of crazy, insane, frantic, demanding American Eagle holiday shoppers.

I hate how crazy Christmas shoppers are. They unfold shirts I JUST folded and throw it on a random table. Sometimes I just follow the messiest customers around. Then 8 people at once come up to me asking a price or for me to see if we have a certain size in the back. Then they change their mind once I go and got the shirt and say that a small will be fine. WHAT the crap! Okay. But at the same time, I like when the store is insane because I have my little headset and I feel like a boss and a secret agent when all the associates have a discussion or talk about certain customers who look like they'll buy a lot. And I like getting good discounts at my favorite store at the mall.

swirl frenzy

i wanna go2 kollege

That's right. I just color coded my closet.
See how much I want to go to school right now? I have been out of school so long I furgot hao tew spel! After work I spent much of the day searching Craigslist for snowboards and coats, researching programs to go to China, and stalking random BYUI Lamprecht Hall resident's facebooks so I could see what my apartment will look like. I must say I'm pretty pumped for the high efficiency closets and the bright white kitchen. I hope I like the closet as much as I think I will...but most of all, I want to know who my 3 roomies are!

Today I got up at 4:30 AM to go to Jamba Juice at 5 AM. Joy. Actually it wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed it today since hardly anyone comes during cold weather...aint got no complikatid orderss i gotta deal wit. All I have to make basically is hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and wheat grass. Super easy! I decided I want to work at Jamba Juice in Idaho in the middle of winter because there will be pretty much no customers, and no one there would ever even think ordering tea or coffee-- so all I have to make is people's hot chocolate and wheat grass shots. SWEET!

I took some random pics today with my new camera I got on Black Friday. I had SO much fun in NC for Thanksgiving with family and friends. I love North Carolina so much! My mom and I hit an AWESOME sale at Salvation army. We almost died..we were that thrilled with our many $1 purchases.

Night With Amigos!

So, last night a big group of us YSA kiddos went to Buffalo Wild Wings  which was lots of fun! I got a boca burger because thats just how I roll. Don't hate. Yea, it was delicious. Then, we went bowling!

Funny story... us girlsss got free shoes from the nice guy at the counter. We rented the lane for an hour, so like 5 minutes into our second game, we only had 3 minutes left- and of course we want to finish the game! So us girls walked back up to the counter, worked our magic, and got the guy at the counter to let us finish our game..for free! Then...we went back to the counter later and asked for bumpers so we could do Skittle Bowling. He was mean and said no because guys tend to break bumpers. But after twirling our hair, fluttering our eyelashes, and working our magic for the 3rd time, we got him to put them up! hehehehe. We had fun!

  • Went to the gym and played basketball then lifted
  • Went on a run outside under the palm trees
  • Came home and had basically a spa day which included shower, nails, facemask, and actually using all my fancy creams 'n lotionsss
  • Took a nap and watched Glee
  • The guy at chick-fil-a was so nice and purposely made me a large instead of small fries which is what I paid for. yay waffle fries!! <3

Just So Excited!

It felt good to play a solid hour of piano today. I'm working on a song by The Fray (Over My Head- Cable Car). I haven't really played much piano lately, so this felt really good. It's just relaxing and makes me think in different ways. Also, since I was bored today, I went on an afternoon run- barefoot. I ran around the neighborhood, under some pretty palms, and along the bayou. I also went without my music which was different.

Lately, all I can really think about is BYUI. First off, I want to know who my roommates are. I'm pretty sure they will be awesome. I am excited to officially begin college. I want to know who my FHE group is and who my closest friends will be there. I wish I knew what job I will get (if I get a job) so I can plan for the future financially. I'm just kind of sick of Jamba Juice and American Eagle right now which is kind of sad since I just started those jobs recently. I still like teaching piano though to the cute preschool kiddos! I just got a new registration, a little 2 year old! That should be interesting and fun.

I've been teaching myself Chinese and Italian online, with Mango Languages, and Berlitz; I love both languages. I feel productive when I study, too. I guess that's a sign that I am ready for school again. I just keep hearing stories and stuff from my friends about their college lives. I want to experience it for myself! Texas is great. I love the weather, palm trees, fun family, and friends. I definitely like YSA dances a TON better than youth dances. I'm exited to go serve in China, I just need to find money for it. And just to let you know, there are 48 days until Christmas! Also there are 57 days until I move into my apartment. YAY!
